This small light was more than I expected. At first When I received the Item I thought very small, Plastic, probably not to powerful. I was wrong. We went on a night dive and I did not think that the little light would be powerful enough to do the job so I rented a larger dive light from the dive shop. This small light was brighter and had a better cone that was more soothing to your eyes. Saw lots of stuff.The price was unbeatable.Also great light for looking under rocks and shelves on your day dives.

bought for ultra light back packing. lighter and brighter tan my mag light. maglight often broke bulb when i ped. this light more forgiving and durable.

Great little light with lots of staying power. My major light when out during our last night dive. I switch to my Princeton Tec ATTITUDE 3 L.E.D. and found that I could continue with no problem. The giant sleeping sea turtle seemed to indicate the light was a little too bright. The light also performed well during day dives to peek into the coral. It’s build in clip allows for easy attachment to your BCD. So I found it easily when I needed it. I had it used it for 8 dives on the same battery pack with no issue.

Rating: Great as a white strobe - Average as a flashlight

i purchased this intending to use it as a strobe on my cylinder it works great for this! the strobe light is powerful and is very easily identified underwater. my one complaint is that it does not come with alternative color lenses. this would be helpful to distinguish yourself from other divers. also, i learned that a flashing white light is a request for help. anyway, know that you are purchasing a high quality white strobe. the flashlight is good for a backup light, but dont expect to use this as a primary light.
