Rating: The safest light available.

Tough, reliable, and extremely visible compared to the others. Some people can be irritated by the distraction of the strobe. But, whatever. If something goes wrong at night or depth, i want people to know where i am. I paid more for this light because it is the best. Ante up the extra $20 for the security. If youre doing as reef dive in clear protected bays in 20 of water, you dont need it. Here in Hawaii where youve got weird currents, 3000 miles of ocean in all directions, near shore abyss, and extreme weather I want this light.

Rating: Strobe location

This strobe was used for a deep dive to keep contact with the group in bad vis.
As such it worked well, being visible for about 30 meters.
The screw-on feature worked well with thick gloves.
It is light, compact and has no strange edges that catch on a BC pocket, making it easy to carry and store.

Rating: So far, so good

Pros:
Small, bright, good battery life. Actually comes on by itself at depth (not supposed to though, pressure must be causing the circuit to close).
Cons:
I wish it had a better attachment method, like and included clip or something. I dont really like the velcro strap.

Rating: simple and easy to use
Reviewer: Daniel S., Monday, March 12, 2007
This light is compact and could not be simpler to use. Its also inexpensive. Ive used these lights in the past (luckily I havent had a true emergency where Ive had to use one) and would recommend it.

Good marker light can be seen from the surface while under water in a pool but still wish it was just a little brighter. would buy again though.

This small but might strobe fits into a BCD pocket. Its strong but effective signal can be seen for a long distance.

Nice strobe but I like the Zeagle Combination Strobe/Flashlight better. Both flash very bright.
