I recently bought 2 of these lights for myself and my husband. We took these lights as backup lights on our night dive certification and the lights were actually brighter than our primary lights.

For a little hand held this packs a lot of light. I use this as my backup light - or just in times when my large light is not needed. I highly recommed this light.

WEIGHT - 71 Princeton Tec’s advertised product weights always include batteries. For many products, battery weight is a large percentage of overall weight. Weight can be significantly reduced by using lithium batteries in lithium-compatible products.
XENON BULBS XENON BULBS come closest to replicating the color temperature of daytime light. They also generate about twice the brightness and consume about half the power of traditional halogen bulbs.
Halogen and Xenon Lights are well-suited to applications where a long-throwing beam is required such as caving and search and rescue. They are less desirable for longer-term, backcountry uses, where weight and battery efficiency are a must.
