Rating: Okay I guess
Reviewer: Jordan Knight, Saturday, June 30, 2007
I went diving off of Catalina Island and I made the mistake of not rinsing off my knife immediatly afterwards. I left the knife in its holster for five hours before looking at it and it already had some serious rust spots on the blade and the tang. It took a lot of work getting the rust off. My only other complaint is that it often got snaged on kelp as I swam by. Otherwise the knife was easy to work with with gloves and it functioned perfectly. Bottom line, these problems were mostly my fault in caring for and choosing a larger knife.

Rating: Depends on what you use it for
Reviewer: Yasuko Okada, Thursday, October 12, 2006 - View all my reviews
this is a pretty heavy leg knife. i think i was looking for a lighter one just to free myself from entanglements i didnt really need a giant blade or extra volume on my calf. however the tusa imprex is a reliable, good knife with a safety lock so that it doesnt easily dislodge. its still easy to remove with my 5mm gloves. not bad! just think about what you need a knife for - cutting monofilament, looking mean underwater, or maybe a combo of both. i think a smaller, trimmer knife would have done just fine.

Rating: Excellent Underwater Knife
Reviewer: Hugh Trotti, Tuesday, September 19, 2006
This is a great knife. Dont waste money on more expensive models, the Imprex has it all. Its easy to disassemble and clean, yet is very solid for tough use. Ive worn it inshore while fishing and it never slipped off or was too difficult to remove. You do need to adjust the straps before each use however, but once its on it stays put.

Rating: High quality and SHARP!
Reviewer: Joseph Johnson, Tuesday, January 30, 2007 - View all my reviews
One of the highest quality dive knives Ive owned - very sharp right out of the box. Solid construction with a high quality sheathe and quick release, quick adjust straps for easy on and off. Blade lock is easy to use, even wearing heavy gloves and a secondary lock helps prevent accidental loss.

Rating: Very solid, stable knife
Reviewer: emanuele m., Monday, July 30, 2007 - View all my reviews
I never had a TUSA knife but I am very happy with this purchase. It is a very stable, handable, solid knife. I like the locking system, the bright colors available, the handle, and the blade... very satisfied. Only 1 problem replace the leg straps because th eone it comes with are flemsy...

Rating: GREAT KNIFE
Reviewer: DAMIAN BARTHOLOMEW, Monday, October 23, 2006 - View all my reviews
I have dived this knife for several months in fresh and salt water. It seats well in the sheath and with a 3mm wet suit, it is not noticeable (weight wise). The straps are easy to attach and detach and the knife is sufficiently sharp for me - a recreational diver. Highly Recommend.

when i bought this knife i was looking for something smaller, as far as the knife it is great i really like the way that you have to pull it, out it makes it harder to . i would recommend that you pay close attention to the overall length before you buy.

Rating: Tuse Imprex Knife
Reviewer: Tj David, Friday, August 11, 2006 - View all my reviews
The knife works very well and its release is much easier then other knives that I have used. Primary using it for spear fishing the blade is nice and long to break up urchins and other things. No downsides to owning it yet.

The knife has a good weight and strong blade. Initially there was some flash rust on the logo, but it’s gone away now. Very happy with it.
