Rating: Great little knife
Reviewer: Harold E.
I intended to use this as my primary dive knife. This knife is EXTREMLY sharp and works very well. I tested it by holding standard fiber line in one hand letting it dangle loosley and sliced downward at 45 degrees with the knife..... Cut the line in one stroke! It is however a bit small. When using 5mm gloves my hands completely engulf the handle making the grip feel a bit weak. I decided to make this my spearfishing knife instead. Great for braining fish and even prying oysters from their mounts. Overall this is a wonderful knife... Just wish it was a little larger (just two centimeters from perfection)

Questions and Answers for ScubaPro Mako Titanium Knife:

  • Ian:

Does this knife/sheath have the grommets on the back which will fit the scuba pro BCD?

    Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at

Hello Ian, yes it has two connection points on the back of the knife.

  • WK:

I cant tell much about the BC mounting points from pictures... Specifically does the BC mounting fit the holes on a Scubapro GO BCD?

    Aaron  (Certified Scuba Instructor at

This knife was not designed with the bc mounts. It is a leg/arm mount knife.

  • WK:

Hmm... that seems to contradict your colleagues previous answer, (that it has grommets for installation on a BC). My question was whether the mounting points align with those of the Scubapro GO BCDs. Im hoping yes since both BC and knife are from Scubapro. Could you please clarify?

    Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at

Hello WK, I was wrong this knife does not have attachment points to connect directly to the BCD. This is in fact to be worn with straps.
