Rating: Excellent knife for the price
Reviewer: Michael B.
I was not expecting much for this knife because of its low price, but it turned out to be a great little bc knife. I like titanium knives because I dive shipwrecks weekly and can appreciate not worrying about rust from missing a cleaning after a dive. For the price, this is a great little titanium knife.

The knife is compact and light, but feels solid. The sheath attached perfectly to my BC. Both the knife and the sheath are well constructed. Overall I am very pleased with the product.

Rating: Exactly what I wanted.

It was just as described. I bought it for my next trip to the caribbean a couple of months from now. I did test it in fresh water (muddy and otherwise) with no hint of corrosion. The cutting blades do a great job on rope and fishing line.

Rating: BCD Installation
Reviewer: Sara G.  -  View all my reviews
The knife is great in all aspects except BCD installation. I affixed the knife to my BC according to the directions but the screws were not long enough to properly secure it in place. I got the screws to catch the bolt barely. On one of my last dives, one screw popped out causing the knife to dangle for the rest of the day.

Rating: at least its titanium
Reviewer: Roy H.  -  View all my reviews
its not the sharpest knife out of the box, but at least its titanium, Ive yet to take it diving. My (SS) Gerber multi tool cuts way way way better than this dive knife, Ive had it for 6 years and its yet to show any signs of rust, but of course ive never taken it to the ocean. im a little dissappointed at the dullness, but for the price, I have no complaints.

Questions and Answers for Scuba Titanium BC Knife:

  • Norman:

How much does this knfe weigh?

Greg  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

    This knife weighs 2 Lbs.

  • Richard:

Will this knife attach to the existing grommets on my aqualung pro lt bcd or will I have to make new holes on the pocket flap. Thanks.

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Richard, if your holes are 2" apart it will work for your BCD.

  • Mark:

Is this also attachable to an arm or leg if I have straps? More importantly, would this be comfortable?

Bill  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Yes can be attached using the straps to the leg or arm and should work fine.

  • Geraldine:

Hi, is this knife compatible with the Scuba Deluxe Neoprene Knife Wrap (Add $9.95 USD)?

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Geraldine, no this is to small of a dive knife to fit inside the knife wrap. You would need to order one of the larger knives for it to fit inside the knife wrap.

  • Jonathan:

Is this knife blade made totally from titanium, or is it titanium coated?

Arthur  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

It is solid titanium. It's the only type of knife I use because they don't rust.

  • Nomad:

I have a 2005 ScubaPro Knighthawk BC. There are no grommets installed in it for a knife. Can this still be installed on the BC directly? Does the kit come with screws, washers and such?

Bob  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

This knife does not offer any mounting kits. It has a slot in the back for use with a nylon strap or can be mounted to the corrugated hose on the bcd.

The Scuba Titanium BC Knife adds the superior durability, sharpness and corrosion resistance of Titanium and boasts a 3 1/8 inch blade length and an over-all length of 6 3/4 inches that features a serrated edge that is perfect for sawing through anything that may obstruct the diver. The handle features a finger and thumb rest giving a comfortable and secure grip even when wearing gloves and a solid metal butt cap designed to allow the diver to make more than enough noise to attract the attention of the divers around him or her. The advantages of Titanium are its lighter weight, stronger blade that holds a superior edge and it’s near complete resistance to corrosion and scuffs. Both knives come complete with a single action, locking system sheath that allows the diver to remove and replace the knife easily and quickly with one hand. The sheath attaches easily to your BCD, arm or leg with the use of common knife straps.
