I am interested in purchasing the scubapro litehawk bc.
I looked at the sizing chart but would appreciate a second opinion.
I am 62" 180 lbs. With a 34 inch waist.
Should I get the med/large or large/x-large

You would be a Medium/Large. For BCD measurements, the height is the least useful measurement.

i want to buy a bc for my son to travel with, i am considering the Zeagle Stilleto and the ScubaPro LiteHawk - he is 510" but only 150lbs, 16 yrs old.

Hello Holly, when you are sizing a BCD the two most important measurements are your waist and height. Weight has nothing to do with sizing. going by your two picks for BCD's I would go with ScubaPro. I think it is a better well made BCD.

What are the disadvantages of using a travel BC all of the time when diving in warm waters. I would have thought smaller and lighter would be better all of the time
