this is the most modular bc on the market. you can add a plethora of items (backpad, padded cummerbund, weight pockets, thigh pockets, pouches, scooter ring lets just say theres a lot of options with this one), or you can strip it down to a bare transpac, for streamlined simplicity. this bc gives you more range than any other one out there. the rec wing is the most versatile bladder in the dive rite lineup. i have taken my transpac from an 18 foot shore dive in st. lucia, to a 140 foot decompression dive on the hmcs cape breton in british columbia. did i mention that this thing is versatile?

I really like the Trans-pac harness, it has the ability to change from a lght weight travel rig set up for light diving, All the way to a dual cylinder tec mission...it has plenty of D rings for all your gear attachments and many more add on bags, kits tool holders, etc.
the trans-Pac with the REC WING bladder is a nice in between BCD with plenty of lift (up to 59 lbs good enough for a tec dive

The Trans pac II w/Rec Wing bladder, Great for all types of dives from shallow reefs to deep wreck penetrations to drift diving...the key is its system of being able to add on or remove various devices as needed for particular dives.

Very happy with the Dive Rite BC. It is the most comfortable BC Ive ever used and is superb for shore dives where you have to hike any distance. Highly recommended.
