Rating: Zeagle Ranger BCD

Great BCD! Since I ordered online, I was nervous that using the Zeagle sizing chart might require me to return the BCD if it didnt fit right, but the adjustments on the shoulder straps and the waist belt make the BCD fit perfect. I like the many D rings to attach equipment on either the waist or shoulder straps. I was impressed with the 4 pockets on the waist, so I can put weights in the inside pockets with rip cord safety for dumping the weight and still use the outer pockets for safety sausage and slate for navigation notes. Great product. Like my instructor has told me, BUY EQUIPMENT ONCE (dont buy poor quality and then upgrade later). I would recommend this product to anyone at any level of certification and especially if you will do advanced dives in rough seas (I do wreck dives in the Atlantic).

Before buying the Ranger, I did my homework and it was very well rated. My buddy / dive instructor had nothing but good things to say about the Zeagle Ranger. In fact he owns 4, that alone sold me on it. Im glad I bought it. The Ranger is better than any other BC Ive used. Great lift and overall, it feels great.

I recently pruchased a Zeagle Ranger BC from SCUBA.COM. I was very pleased with the service, including an attempt at price matching with a different online company (who did not have my size in stock).
The Zeagle Ranger is a great piece of kit. Very comfortable. Very adjustable. Very well made. As a point of comparison, it is a little bulky when packing it into a bag. I love the integrated weights, although it does make for a heavy piece of gear when everything is loaded.

This is a great BCD for those who want more than a recreational BCD and less than a backpack with seperate bladders, manifolds, wingnuts, and tanks. Its comfortable, has plenty of lift, and with the back-inflate it is easy to balance for horizontal cruising. Nice BCD for photography, cold water, or s&r.

Rating: Best Technical BC going

This is without question the best Tech BC, it has lots of D rings for lights and reels and makes horizontal bouyancy much easier compared to conventional Open Water style BCs.

Rating: Comfortable BC

Very nice BC. Comfortable even on a long hike on beach dives. Floats fine on surface even though it is back inflation.

The nipple connection valve for the low pressure inflator was out of tolerance and I could not get my LP hoses to seat properly. They need better QC.
