Loved, loved, loved this gloves. I was able to work the buttons on my camera, they were not bulky at all. I wore them even while snorkeling. I give this item a "High 5" also.

I need a pair of NON-waterproof surfing gloves. Water builds up and becomes trapped in dry ones. I will be using them in 50-55 degree water.

Hello Paul, all of the gloves made by the manufacture like this are designed to trap a thin layer water between your hand and the inside of the glove. Then over time your hand will warm that water up and the glove will reflect the heat back to your hand. If you need a lot of dexterity in your fingers I would not go any thicker then a 5mm thickness.
