I bought this top to go with some wetsuit-type shorts for snorkeling. The top worked well. Was easy to put on because it has a zipper in the back - not at the neck but from the waist up about 8 inches. I did not see the zipper mentioned in the description so it was a pleasant surprise.

Loved everything about it - including the price - but it was a bit too small thru the shoulders for surfing.

This is a good shirt...better than a rash guard, but not so bulky that its hard to move in. Good purchase

Questions and Answers for Hyperflex by Henderson 1.5mm Cyclone Surf Wetsuit Jacket:

    • Jay:

I have to go in water filters in city water plants and have to be in cold water will this wetsuit jacket keep me dry and somewhat warm, this is an unusual request. We wear chest waders for bottoms but need something for the top half

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Jay, this would not keep you dry. This jacket is designed to keep a thin layer of water between you and the suit. Then your body will warm that water up and help reflect it back to your body. If you are looking for something to keep you total dry but your hands, feet, and above your neck then I would suggest the ONeill Boost Surf Drysuit web link: http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-19/066980/ONeill-Boost-Surf-Drysuit.html.
