Neoprene cap for those cold mornings on the ocean. Perfect for jetskiing. Covers top half of my ears. Nice quality for only 20 bucks!

Unfortunately height and weight is all the manufacturers have for sizing. Weight will be the most important. As long as the item is not used in the water you have 60 days to refund or exchange it.

Will this hood stay on while I am doing a lot of butterfly? Will it cover my ears at all? Also - how can I determine the best size for me?

The cap is designed to stay on a surfer's head even when he/she fall off their surfboard, so I'd think it would remain in place doing a butterfly stroke in a pool. It does come down over the ears similar to a stocking cap type design.
