Ive been renting drysuit hoods for the past year, so Ive experienced several. This one is by far the best Ive dove with - no slipping, no bulging, good fit, and great warmth. The face hole was quite small, but a pair of scissors fixed that.

We dive Monterey and Carmel bays - this hood is great to keep the chill out. This is my second 7mm hood from Pinnacle - this one has the Merino lining that makes the hood a bit tighter but also less water exchange. If you want a well made hood and dive temperate water its a must have!

I was very, very pleased with the warmth of this hood. The fit was perfect and limited the water movement very effectively. The neck flange was just the right amount of tension so as not to increase the tightness around my neck. Quick to dry and very warm!!!
