This beanie is excellent for adding a little bit of warmth without having to don on the full hood. In addition it protects your hair when putting the mask on and off. Used it when diving in June in waters off of Malaysian Borneo.

Stops my mask strap from sliding off my head and getting my hair tangled. Helps keep hair out of the mask seal so leaking is not an issue when diving. Also helps keep head warm. Very comfortable to wear and easy to put on and pull off. Recommend!

Im so glad that I bought this, wish I had bought it sooner. You really feel the difference it makes when you hit a thermocline. The first time I surfaced and took it off my head, I felt a very big climate change.

I use this beanie in tropical diving. It protects my hair from being pulled by my mask strap, and provides enough warmth when the water is just a bit cool - with this little hood keeping my head I can get by with a lighter wetsuit. Great buy!
