This is an excellent choice for those looking for a light weight hood to keep the chill off and still be free to move and look around and hear things. Yes I dive, surf, and windsurf but I bought this hood specifically for Kayaking in the New England Winter. We Kayak year round up here and while I needed something to keep my neck, face, and head warmer against the wind snow and water splashes I also need to be able to move freely and hear the whitewater rapids as I approach them. This Hood kept me very warm and sheltered when dry and helped keep me warm and headache free when swimming in th event of a capsize. Yaknuttz

The hood is very usefull for me,protection from the sun,in Puerto Rico is very hot u/v is serious business.The hood is confordable and the price was perfect.
