This hood fits snug, but is not uncomfortable. I am 511" 165 lbs. and purchased a medium hood. I like for my gear to be tight fitting but comfortable at the same time. The hood hugs all surfaces of my head and face and does not shift around as I move under water.

This hood is very comfortable and kept my head very warm. I took it on a camping/scuba trip and it was so cold at night that I slept with the hood on without much discomfort. It was definately worth the price.

Very functional hood. The thicker material covers the portion of the head where heat loss is potentially the worst. The thinner material is in the neck for flexibility. There are holes to vent trapped air in the crown of the hood. The collar is quite generous to prevent the hood from pulling out of the wetsuit top.

This hood fits great. Head nice and warm in 51 degree water up here in the Puget Sound. Seals great around face, it fits true to size. The price is right too.
