I love Titanium products and this one is very good for the price. It doesnt have an air vent in the top which would have made it great, but it does what it is intended to do. A little self mod with a soldering iron takes care of that problem.

this is a great beanie to keep the hair out of your eyes and to keep your head warm even in 87 degree water... would have liked more velcro on the strap and more color options such as yellow for easy identification

We spent a week on Bonaire during the last month of February. The water was colder than we expected. The Pinnacle Beannie was perfect to add the warmth needed and avoid the discomfort that accompanies the thicker mm hoods. It was recommended by a friend and we both enjoyed the product on every dive.

I usually love Pinnacle exposure equipment but this item was the exception. The Velcro closure was not as comfortable as the Henderson that I ended up buying.

Will this hood work for 40-50 degree water?

3mm Beanies are designed to help keep a diver or snorkeler warm in Warm Water conditions. They are not designed for those water temperatures.
