Merino lining feels nice and keeps me warm in 50F water. The only minor concern is that the skirt bunches up at the neck when I zip up the wetsuit.

Kept me very warm in Northern California waters. Theres plenty of room to trim the rubberized face seal, and just 1/4-1/2 inch was all I needed off the bottom lip, so my snorkel fit effortlessly (my prior hood pressed my lip in too much). It was also flexible enough to pull on the edges of the face seal after I had minor ear barotrauma, so my ears normalized easier/faster.

This is the 2nd pinnacle hood I have purchased. I unfortunately lost the first one when I left it on the swim platform after a dive. The hood has been used in some of the coldest waters of Lake Superior (34 degree F) where I was in the water for over an hour and it stood up to the challenge exceptionally well. The Merino wool liner really works!

What can I say but its great, If your looking for a good hood pinnacle is the way to go, The fit was great and is very warm. I hope this helped if your looking for a hood.

This is a nice hood. It is almost a warm as a 7mm due to the Merino lining. It fits well and keeps water exchange at the neck seal to a minimum. Like any premium hood its vented
