This hood is flexible enough to go on and off without feeling like it was pulling my ears off, like so many others have. The seal around my face is soft and comfortable. The bib stays tucked inside my suit. The main thing I notice is when Im tucked in and ready to go, my head doesnt snap back to looking forward when I turn my head to the side! The only caution is that it is a little difficult to adjust the face seal around my mask skirt when I am wearing 7mm gloves. Overall, this is a comfortable, quality mask at an affordable price.

I found the Mares Trilastic hood to be very conforming. Most other hoods that I have worn tend to open around the face allowing water to rush in. The mares Trilastic hood fits comfortably around the skirt of your mask without allowing water to creep in. It also doesnt put that uncomfortable preasure on your ears.

I used this hood in combination with a Mares 7mm Evolution wet suit. Good fit and superior comfort for those of us who have big heads. Great product.
