I was impressed with the durability and warmth of the Henderson Insta Dry Gloves 3mm. Recently I recieved my new gloves and tried them out in Italy while diving a Alpine river. The water temp was 11 celsisus and a current. I dove the river in a dry suit and normally would wear dry gloves, but since the latex in my dry gloves broke down I thought I would try my 3 mm Henderson Insta dry. Appearance wise, not so exciting, but fit, use and warmth, I was very pleased very much. They held up well from holding onto rocks and handling items found underwater. My hands stayed warm and the fit was very nice. I did not miss my dry gloves at all, I will use my 3 mil and my 5 mil Henderson insta dry gloves instead.

I own the 5mm gloves and these things are magical! The ads dont lie: these gloves seal out water like its nobodys business. they are great. the flip side to that is they are the devil to put on and get off. but its worth it for warm fingers. highly recommend. once you get used to them, you learn how to manage putting them on or off, so it doesnt really cause a big deal. and they dry fast! plus the 5mm allow for quite alot of dexterity considering the thickness.

These are very comfortable gloves and dry quickly as advertised. Be sure to order larger size if you are in doubt. On a recent dive of 50 minutes in 42 degree water, my hands were cold, whereas my diver partner with the same gloves, did not experience cold hands. So, your mileage may vary with these gloves, but I think my hands would have been cold no matter which 5mm pair of gloves I had on. I would definately buy these gloves again if I had it to do over.

Likes: 1. much nicer for dexterity 2. quality construction 3. easy to go on without the unnecessary extra strapping, etc. Dislikes: 1. the typical Henderson sizing problem - I was lucky enough to live within 1 hr drive to try on - 1 size larger than usual was necessary. Still rate them a 5 - just need to make sure the size is right. If not, Scuba.com is always EXCELLENT about exchanges.

Ive only had these gloves for a few weeks now and have used them a few times, but I have to say they work as good as they say. They actually do dry off extremely quick and are excellent for keeping you warm. Nothing better then going for another dive and your gear already being warm.

I had old 5mm oceanic gloves. I wore some unknown rental gloves. But I have to say that this was worth my money. It is a bit difficult to put it on and you might need to ask your buddy to help you out with it, but when its on, it keeps you warm for sure by locking in all that water.

The gloves fit nice and snugly, effectively sealing water out. They make for a really warm dive and are dry on the second dive. Its a bit difficult to get them on and off, but they are otherwise super comfortable and warm!

Gloves are very nice. A tight fit and are much warmer than my old gloves. Did not have any problems getting on and off. I will definitely purchase another set as a back up / replacement in the near future.

I like the gloves. No strap and velcro to keep them on, but they keep the water out. A little difficult to put on, but very flexible to work with when they are on.
