Rating: out back roller bag
Reviewer: Ron B., Sunday, November 01, 2009 - View all my reviews
i am very happy with this product for the discount price i got it for. Alot of space except I thought the side compartments for the fins was a little tight and my old bag had mesh at the top for air in that compartment.I also thought the wheels were very sturdy and pull out handle was the right height. I also like the back pack straps and the fact that you can tuck them away in the bag.Over all I would recomend this product.

Rating: Fits two sets of boot fins in side compartments.
Reviewer: Daniel Ari Mendelson, Saturday, September 12, 2009 - View all my reviews
Just bought this bag for a trip to Bonaire. It is roomy and the fin compartments fit two sets of boot fins including my heavy TwinJets. Holds enough equipment to easily get you over the airline limits, so be careful with loading. Rolls well. Handle is good. I like the back pack straps and the cover for the handle. Does not have a system for attaching another bag to it. The two front cover compartments are a little awkward shaped and not that useful. Good value, but not the prefect bag.

Rating: Scuba 12.5 lbs Outback Roller Backpack Bag.
Reviewer: Kathryn S., Thursday, September 03, 2009
The bag is really large and seems to be very sturdy. It is so large that I could never fill it up to keep it under the 50# airline limit. So I will have to take an additinal carry-on bag for my trip.

Rating: A great bag! Or is it...
Reviewer: David C., Sunday, August 02, 2009
i just purchased the scuba 12.5 lbs outback roller bag because it had all of the features i was looking for: lots of space for my gear, backpack option and rugged construction. the bag works on almost all of these levels. its big: i got all of my gear including my reg (in the optional reg bag) fins, mask & snorkel, full-sized bcd (not travel-size), mesh boat-bag, my 3:2 shortie and a 3:2 full suit in it, along with my daughters fins, mask and snorkel, with enough room to spare to pack most of the clothes i needed for a full week! it was a little on the heavy side, but it made it through baggage check with no problems no additional charges for size or weight. the side pocket compartments are really good for the fins, and the front zipper compartments are outstanding for other small accessories. the zippers are heavy duty, and the overall construction of the bag seems great. however, when i got to the resort and unloaded the bag, the porter helping us with out luggage pulled the telescoping handle out of the bag to roll it and it came completely off in his hands! im returning the bag to scuba.com tomorrow for an exchange im hoping that i just happened to get a bag with a defective handle. im also hoping that the customer service at scuba.com is as good as they say it is. i really like the features of this bag and its an excellent travel bag, but im holding my breath to see if scuba.com makes good on their promises, and hoping that the replacement i get lives up to the full potential of this product. if it does, then i would recommend this bag very highly.

Rating: Excellent Dive Bag
Reviewer: David Durkin, Saturday, July 25, 2009 - View all my reviews
My wife and I recently went on a dive trip to Cabo and at times I needed to carry both dive bags plus my suitcase, I would use the backpack straps on one, and pull the other two bags along...it was not a problem at all ...These bags worked excellent, very durable, and great zippers.

Rating: Good purchase for the money (ON SALE)
Reviewer: Tiffany Taylor, Wednesday, July 08, 2009
I caught this item while on sale for just under $100. It arrived early and appeared to be what I wanted. Took it international for diving in St. Kitts. Everything fit great, two whole sets (my husband and I are not small people. I had to put one wet suit into my other luggage, bt everything else fit. Of course our luggage was OVERWEIGHT for the flight and I had to pay. The return flight they lost my bag, but I did get it back. The top zipper where the handle goes in was torn by the airline, but everything else held up great. Have used it several times on trips by car, and it has held up thus far.

Rating: Outback Roller 12.5 Lb Bag
Reviewer: Adlai Climan, Saturday, June 27, 2009 - View all my reviews
Have packed the bag for my first dive outing with it. Holds entire rig (BC, regulator, wetsuit, towel et al) without squeezing it in too much. I cant see how anyone can use a smaller (i.e. the 10 lb.) bag. Durable shell, collapsible handle an absolute must to keep from banging bag on legs while rolling. Two separate exterior fin pockets are great, holding a full set of fins, boots and some misc. gear in each for easy access. Larger front pocket holds regulator and bag, but no more. Small front pocket holds most of the small stuff, but could use 1 more.
