Im 58" (short legs - 29" inseam) and 185# what size do you recommend? Reading the reviews a couple divers receommended next size smaller? Would appreciate your feedback. Thanks. John
The waist and chest are the most important measurements for the fit with a wetsuit. Height usually will work even if it is one to two inches short or tall. Weight will depend on the divers body build and is the last measurement to consider. As long as the item is not used in the water you have up to 60 days to refund or exchange it.
Hi, I bought a size 10 womens suit and it is to short up and down in the body but fits perfect everywhere else. What would be a comparable mens size for me to order just to get more length?
if i am between a large and extra large based on chest and waistwhat would you recommend? large or x-large? do these run bigger or smaller? thank you very much.
it says jacket but picture looks like a shorty. Which is it?
The jacket is the top half of a 2 piece wetsuit. Many manufacturers offer them individually in the event a person needs one size top and another size bottom. The Jacket is typically, but not always, short legs with long sleeves. It is cut in a manor that takes into account that it is designed to go over another layer of neoprene in the bottom or farmer john/jane.
I currently wear a Neosport farmer john and would like to buy a 3mm Thermoprene wetsuit jacket. My question is when taking chest and waist measurements should I wear my farmer john or measure bare chest. Jose
My wife and I are looking for something to wear over our 3/2 wet suits (long sleeve and full over the legs) would this be a good option? Would this be hard to pull over the long sleeves of our current wet suit?
Where is the sizing info? I where an XL in the LLBean would that be comparable. Can I get the shorty with short sleeve?
I weigh 175 pounds and I am 6 ft. tall. My waist is 36-38. What size Henderson 3mm Thermoprene Step in jacket Wetsuit do you recommend for me. thanks.
Hello, I writing for my husband John. He is 100% disabled. He can walk a little and swim. His therapist wants to work with him at the YMCA pool inside, due to all the back surgries it is to much on land. He doesnt want to go cause the water is too cold around 75. Is the a suit you can recommend. Short top (vest) and short bottoms. They have to be easy to get on and off. Also he is 63 and weighs anywhere between 290 and 315. He usally wears 2x bottoms and 2 to 3x tops depending on cuts. Is alittle bigger better. Thank You, His wife Ethel
In those water temperatures a 3mm suit is very common for water work outs. Unfortunately none of them are very easy to get on. A 3mm Vest may work well for the upper body, but there are no functional shorts to match up with it that will provide much warmth. The reasoning for this is the water trapping required to maintain the warmth. The body creates the heat, the suit material acts as an insulator. The water is the conductor of the heat. If the water isn't trapped, and continuously flushes through, it won't remain warm. Probably one of the better suits for his uses would be the Aqua Lung Sport 3mm Quantum Stretch Shorty Wetsuit http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-258/147643/Aqua-Lung-Sport.-3mm-Quantum-Stretch-Shorty-Wetsuit.html The suit is made from an extremely flexible and elastic blend of neoprene that is comfortable when working out. It is a back zip suit that is about as easy to get on and off as we have to offer.
I am looking for a long sleeve shorty wet suit. I am 58" with a 32 in waist 72" wingspan (fingertip to fingertip) and weigh 170lb. What suits would be suitable for scuba?
I am looking for a wetsuit for paddleboarding in the lakes in ontario canada. Wondering if short sleaves would be better? I am 54" tall hover around 120lbs Chest 36 waist 30 hip 36. Does a sz 8 sound right?
Hello Deb, it depends on how often you are in the water. If you fall off or in the water alot I would suggest the long sleeve for added warmth. If you do not go in the water then the short sleeve would give you more mobility when you are above the water. Also going by your measurements you would be the size 9-10 (Large).
