  • John:

Could someone please measure the pull weight of the power band of the JBL 38 Special XHD? Thank you.

Bob  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Unfortunately we do not have the ability to offer that info. Information such as this would be something the manufacturer may be able to provide.

  • Tam:

Hi. I have a few questions about this speargun. I need anyone who has used this speargun to give me some feedback .. 1, is this gun float ( I think it is) i believe it comes with the float chamber please confirm 2 Is this Speargun too loud when you shoot ? 3, would you pick this aluminum JBL 38 special XHD or you pick Elite Wood 38 special and why? I Thank you Tam

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Tam, this gun does have a float chamber build into the gun so yes this will float. over a wood gun yes the metal is louder underwater when fired. I would rather have a wood gun over the metal gun.

  • John:

Does anyone know what the approximate pull weight is on each power band for the JBL 38 XHD? It uses three 5/8" x 16" power bands. Thank you.

Elliott  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):
