Very well constructed. The best commercial reel out there. I would prefer it to be S/S and have solid handles to help control speed if used for other than emergency. Manta is a great company and the reel is a nice item. This reel works better as a upline reel for normal use and is big so holds nylon or sisal. A smaller S/S sisal with fixed handles makes a more traditional Jersey Reel. But what do I know, Im from California.
