I need mens fin size 13 to 15 . Rented Aqua lung fins in St. John in this size worked great....please advise
Aqualung does not offer full foot fins in that size. You would need to use strap fins and booties. Aqua Lung Slingshot Adjustable Strap Fins for example. http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-20/114302/Aqua-Lung-Slingshot-Adjustable-Strap-Fins.html ScubaPro Twin Jet Full Foot Fins and Atomic High Performance Full Foot Split Fins offer sizes in full foot fins up to size 14. http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-21/013560/ScubaPro-Twin-Jet-Full-Foot-Fins.html http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-21/113000/Atomic-High-Performance-Full-Foot-Split-Fins..html
Looking for a quality fins for snorkling but it needs to be light and easy to pack. Do I need socks for these full foot fins or can I wear them barefoot?
I have some older and well used technisub full foot fins. I have ordered 2 sizes of the Bare full foot fins and one is to small the other much to big, so as I understand Aqua Lung has bought out Technisub their Caravelle fins seem to have the same shapped foot pocket. My fins say size 8 on the bottom I wear a 1 ml fin sock with them to keep blisters away. I am not sure what size to order this shipping things back and forth is going to get old. please give me an idea what to order. Also the fin pocket on the Bare fin is so soft and low cut even though I love the color I dont think adding a 2 ml bootie would help. Suggestions?
The Caravelle is an incredibly comfortable and lightweight fin with the power and efficiency of many larger and heavier fins. The key to its power is the specially formulated blade material that provides additional thrust at the end of every kick!
Lightweight, full-foot pocket fin
Super soft and comfortable foot pocket for hours of snorkeling fun!
Made from thermoplastic material, providing extraordinary elasticity and snap
Fin blade extends below the heel for improved leverage and power transmission
Extended fin blade also reduces stress on the arch by transferring blade forces to the heel
The thin but strong fin blade is completely bordered in rubber providing maximum active and passive protection
Fin Care and Maintenance
Care Before and During the Dive
Avoid standing your fins on the tips of the blades for any extended period of time.
Avoid hot temperatures and hot surfaces as these can damage the fin.
Avoid placing the fins in a car trunk on hot days as the temperatures inside car trunks can exceed the temperature tolerances of the fin and the blades may distort.
Care After the Dive:
Rinse thoroughly with fresh water and towel dry before final storage.
Store in a cool, dry and protected place out of direct sunlight.
Avoid any contact with alcohol, oil, gasoline, aerosols, or chemical solvents.
Do not expose any part to aerosol spray, as some aerosol propellants attack or degrade rubber and plastic materials.
Do not use any type of alcohol, solvent or petroleum based substances to clean or lubricate any part.
Do not store your equipment near any oil, gasoline, chemicals, or solvents.
