Worked very well. Got extra large 11-13. I have size 13 feet and they were very tight but as mentioned worked well.

If I purchase the lycra diving socks to wear under the dive fins, should I order a size larger fin to have room for the socks?

No. Purchase them by your normal sneaker style shoe size. Lycra socks aren't thick enough to alter the sizing.

The only way to fit an extra wide foot is to go up one size. As long as the item is not used in the water you have up to 60 days to refund or exchange it.
