And the reviews are in: "This fin dives like a dream. It's easy on the legs, highly maneuverable and provides effortless propulsion. It also has outstanding power vs. stress rates and easy-to-maintain speed. The fin is deceptive; it requires so little effort it sometimes does not seem like its doing much, but in fact its moving you right along." -Scuba Lab

Rating: Great fin for warm water

Bought these for my son before recent trip to St. John. Not quite as stiff as the Oceanic Vortex V-6 I bought for myself. Very comfortable and has plenty of power when needed. Feel like they may be more comfortable than the Oceanic Vortex V-6 for just easy floating and snorkeling in calm water. Both very good fins.

Rating: decent fins for the money
Reviewer: Cleveland M.,
I used these fins recently on a vacation in Hawaii.I dont think the propulsion that was advertised was as described, but they were ok.I got caught in alittle bit of current and I had no forward propulsion and I was kicking hard. The fit was true to size,I wear a size 12 shoe,I ordered xl fins and they fit perfect.

Pretty confortable but size if off. Bought a womens 8/9 and I wear a 8.5. Too big. Will try and use with socks or boots.

These fins are very deceptive. They are much faster then my old fins. They seem much easier on the calves when snorkleling in waves and current. I also dove with them In St.Lucia and loved them.

Questions and Answers for Aeris Velocity Full Foot Fins..:
Mike:
My wife wears a size 7.5 womens shoe, which size of these fins for women should we order?
Bob (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
Generally speaking, with full foot fins you want to shoot for the middle of a sizing range as much as you can. In this case your wife is right at a size cut. If it was a definite that this was the fin, of chose I'd choose the smaller size in this particular fin.
Marcial:
I wear a size 15 shoe what full foot fin would you recommend and what socks go my size.
thank you

:
Hello Marcial, Thank you for your inquiry, This fin is only good up a men's size 13.
David:
I wear a size 9 shoe, what size would I wear in Dive Fins?
Darrick (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
Hello David, you would be a size 9-10.
Jess:
Do i have to wear dive socks/boots? And I am a size 8.5 in womens running shoes, so which size fin would be best?
Darrick (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
Hello Jess, if you want to wear boots with these fins you will have to go up in sizes for the boots. These fins are a closed foot fin so wearing a thin pair of socks or your bare feet is what these are designed for. As for the correct size you would be. You are going to go by your tennis shoe size. You are size men7-8/women8-9. If you would like to place an order or have any other questions please feel free to give us a call at 1.800.347.2822.
Jess:
One more question, I am a teenager whois just getting started scuba diving (only done 3 dives). I have semi muscluar legs (pretty decent for my age). WOuld these fins be a smart purchase or is there another brand or fin type that you recommend?
I wear an 81/2 mens running shoe and I dont want to wear socks. Should I go with the 7-8 or 9-10 mens size?
Darrick (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
Hello John, I would go with the size 7-8 Mens. If your toes stick out of the front that would be fine
Roger:
Hi, I want to order snorkeling gear and fit in my suitcase. How long are the Velocity fins in a mens 10.5?
Thanks.

Typically these type of fins are 18 to 22 inches. You might want to check with the manufacturer for specifics.
George:
Currently use a open heel fin with bootie. Looking for a scuba fin that is light weight and easy to pack would this fin be suitable for scuba or mainly snorkeling?
