Questions and Answers for XS Scuba 80 Cubic Foot Aluminum Tank.:
What is different about this tank than the 80 pound Sherwood tank
Bill (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
The XS Scuba tank is made by Worthington and the Sherwood is a Catalina tank. Both of the tanks are very simular in specs and do not think you would notice any difference is diving them.
Hello everyone. Have a question about this tank. As it says in description - manufacturer is "Catalina". But as i see in other notes it seems like its "Luxfers" tanks. Because of:
1. Article "AL80"
2. Buoyancy parameters
3. Weight of cylinder
But few other notes is similar to Catalina cylinders, yes. But i need exactly 2 tanks from Luxfer because of buoyancy and volume issues (Luxfer is 12L full and Catalina is 11.1L). Thats why, can you answer, is it 100% Catalina or Luxfer cyliners manufacture?
