Rating: Not to bad for snorkeling
Reviewer: Bryce M.
I bought these for my wife to go SCUBA diving knowing there for snorkeling. She is only giving them a 4 star rating, not because it was our mistake (as reviewers often do grrr)She said that they were hard to us at the surface, but that could be because she is use to a scuba fin, which is bigger. The fin pocket for your foot is to small for the use of a boot,so not the most comfy fin. That said, most of our problem was in a different use for the fins, they would be great for snorkeling Im sure

Rating: Straps break very quickly
Reviewer: Gregory T.
I have had 2 pairs of these fins for my daughter (age 10), for snorkeling. Both suffered broken straps the first time they were used in the water. I would not buy this fins.

Questions and Answers for Oceanic V Flex Adjustable Strap Snorkeling Fins:

    Why are boots required ?

Bob  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

The foot pocket is designed for use with boots. This allows for use in colder climates. If you don''t wear boots, the strap and foot pocket will tear up your feet when you use them.

  • Jeremy:

What size fin should I get for a size 7 boot?

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Jermey, you want to order the size range of your boot. Which will be a size 6-9. If you have any other questions or would like to place an order please feel free to give us a call at 1.800.347.2822.

  • David:

Just bought xp pro dive fins. They are to long for what i want to do. Is the oceanic V flex fin shorter. Thanks

Clarke  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello David, Thank you for your inquiry! The XP Pro Dive Fins and the V Flex Fins are about the same length. If you would like to place an order, please contact one of our certified Dive Instructors at SCUBA.com by calling 800-247-2822 <> 949-221-9300 or e-mail us at: info@scuba.com

  • Pamela:

    What are spring straps?

Bob  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Spring straps are a self adjusting replacement heel strap. They remain snug on your heels even at depth when your booties are compressed by the pressures of the atmospheres you are experiencing.
