Cool fins, green is an awsome color, and works great, but they dont work with those spring loaded straps. I have the generic springs that go on fins and they will not fit on these and I dont want to spend another $50 on a special pair if it exists or is available.

I love these fins. Great quality and the price was much cheaper then normal retail( on sale ) a great buy. All my dealings with Scuba.com have been more then satisfactory. A pleasure to do business with.

although mares product line has consistantly be known for quality and performance The mares Raptor adjustable strap split dive fins will exceed your expectations. they will provide you with the thrust you desire while exerting the minimal amount of energy, that couple with the price makes the a worth while investment.

I was shocked at how well these fins performed. Even with a bad hip the fins went beyond my expectations! The ease of movement and the speed underwater was very noticable with less effort needed compared to my old Mares fins that were not split. I will never dive without them!

Mares has an excellent split fin design that is just downright amazing. The first time I tried mine on I was so excited to just get them in the water. Upon completion of my first dive with them, I was overwhelmed at how my legs did not have any kind of cramp after I was finished using them. I also noticed underwater that I was able to keep up with the rest of my buddies underwater who were not using a split fin design. Great fin and great looking as well! Im hooked!

Rating: Mares Raptor great for bad knees

Great product at a low price. Tested fins with full scuba gear and they move you fast. I have a knee operation and because they are a split fin most of the pressure is in the lower parts of the legs not on the knee. Would highly recommened to people with bad knees.(They need a little getting use too)

I bought these for my brother when we went on his first dive trip. He says that they are really comfortable and he can get a lot of power without a lot of energy used, which means more air in the tank.

More power with less effort. Sizing seems to run a little big, might need to consider that if youre right on the borderline of a particular size. Happy with the purchase. Have received numerous compliments on the fins.

This fin offers great mobility and economy of motion. The hard plastic is a little stiff and can make the toe cup slightly uncomfortable if worn with thin booties. I would recommend the Apollo Bio-fin for the extra $ it is worth it.

after having to have knee surgery, i really wanted to ease the strain on my joints as much as possible. having well-engineered fins like these is much like having a greater quality running shoe easier on the joints, better fit, good action. after having to have knee surgery, i really wanted to ease the strain on my joints as much as possible and these have reduced my fatigue rate too.
