Rating: Great fins
Reviewer: Lance B.,
I recently upgraded to these fins. Spent a week in baja snorkeling and scuba diving, and these fins performed great at both. They have a nice smooth action. They are also light, which makes packing easier. For the price I cant imagine you can find any fins better than these.

Just returned from the Caribbean doing a weeks worth of dives. This was our first dives after becoming certified so putting gear together is an expensive chore. The response and comfort of the fin where good. I imagine there may be better fins out there, but at a premium price. For the recreational/new diver, I dont see much better at this price point.

Rating: Mako Adjustable Dive Fins
Reviewer: tammy w.,
Needed reasonably priced fins for my kids open-water qualifying dives. These adjustable fins worked great( both have adult sized feet), good price and they got to order their own color.

Great fins. Used them for Scuba at Western Illinois University and they have not let me down so far. I would recommend.

Rating: Mako Fin Spring Straps
Reviewer: Richard S.,
The spring straps for the Mako fins work very well. They make getting the fins on and off very easy. No problems with the straps coming off while diving. This gets an A+

My feet are UK size 8, euro size 42.
(I assume sizes on this website are US which probably different to UK).
Assuming i buy cold water boots at above size what size of these fins should I buy?
Bob (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
You would purchase the small. US 7-9 size. A IK 8 equates into a US 8.5.

John:
I am interested in the Aeris Mako fins. I have an 8 1/2 shoe size with triple E width. Will the size Small 7-9 fit me with cold water boots on, or will I need a larger size for the width of my foot?
Thanks for you help in advance.
Bill (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
The boots come full sizes based on your shoe. One size up might fit a wider foot better. As long as the item is not used in the water you have up to 60 days to refund or exchange it.

I have a size 9.5 foot and will be wearing wadefishing boots similar to your warmwater boots. What size would you recommend for the Aeris Mako Adj Strap fins?
Thanks
Darrick (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
Hello Chris, going by your information you would need a size 10-12 mens.
Bill:
I noticed Aeris makes both full foot and open heel fins. What are some of the pros/cons of each style.Ive worn out the low end full foot pair I have (both tore where my big toe pushed against the top of the shoe.. Other than that and being loose because they were a little too big, they worked well.
Darrick (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
Hello Bill, with full foot fins you wear with your bare feet or a thin sock. As for the adjustable fins you would need to wear booties because of the adjustable strap in the back.
bill:
I wear a size 13 shoe. What would be best for me to get Ajustable strap or full foot
fins. We snokel 2 weeks a year in Grand cayman.I need to up grade my old full foot fins. thank you
Bill (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
An adjustable fin will give you more range of sizes and styles, but will require you to wear a boot. Both are ordered according to your shoe size.
