I ordered these open toe fins for my daughter in the appropriate size but they were too small so I sent them back and reordered in a size larger. Almost too small again - a very tight fit. I also didnt like that the strap didnt snap open which I didnt realize prior to ordering. However, all in all, for the price, they were great! She liked them, they were sturdy and should last for years. Summary: split fins, open toes, fit on the small side but overall Id recommend them.

These were purchased for my 8yr old for snorkeling. The have a very nice padded back. He only wears a size 4, but with boots the fins dont seem to big. I wouldnt use them for diving- they are shorter than dive fins.

I have tried a lot of fins and the Aqua Glides are my new favorites. They are so easy to put on and adjust to the perfect fit. No more blisters on my heel from fins that are too tight or too loose. With the comfortable padding on the strap, theres no need to wear aqua socks either. And you cant beat the price. I love them so much, I bought a pair for everyone in my family. I highly recommend these fins to all of my friends who love to snorkel as much as I do and beginners too.

Wonderful fins for the price. The receiver is too small for my boot. I ordered a large and I have a size 9 boot. I am going to reorder in Ex-Large if availe.
You wont be sorry for buying these fins. The work great with less effort, look great, just sized small.
Beacause of the size issue, Im taking off a star.

i used these fins primarily for snorkeling. the heel strap was very comfortable, and only when i used them on consecutive days of snorkeling that my ankle joints began to get sore. it was hard to say whether it was just physical strain or the fact that they were split fin and not as powerful, resulting in extra effort. ultimately i decided to try them for a 45 ft. dive in the bahamas. although i felt that i had to put a little extra force behind my strokes compared to non-split fins, i was able to keep up extremely well with everyone else. therefore, when in a pinch, these fins can be cross-purpose finsfor snorkeling and for scuba. for the price that these are offered on scuba.com ($30), id say they were a great deal.

I ordered these fin for my family for a trip to Mexico. They were very comfortable even on bare feet. They made snorkeling much more enjoyable when we were in strong currents. I highly recommend them!

I bought these for the whole family. The large size for me and the small for my very short wife and two very short boys. My youngest who is a size 3 wore a lightweight aqua sock with the fins to fill up the space and for protection and my oldest wore a fin sock to protect his feet from possible blistering nearly 2,000 miles from home. The protection issue was probably unecessary as the fins are very well designed, and have a wonderful padded stap at the heel. None of us had any issues with the performance, and in fact all of felt that using them was effortless. We couldnt be happier with our purchase. Highly recommended.

Comfortable foot pockets - nice heel pad. The foot bottom covers most of the foot up to the heel so you dont have the arch of your foot exposed. Good stiffness and propulsion. I would recommend these for more energetic swimmers - if you want to glide slowly all the time, get a less stiff blade. I love the open heel without booties over the full heel and recommend open heel for snorkeling.

I purchased DEEP SEE AQUA GLIDE FINS for our vacation in Akumal and really happy with the purchase. I am a novice snorkler so, I thought, it would be very uncofortable and hard to snorkel. Boy, I was wrong! These fins fit me right in, very soft. I didnt have any boots or socks, just on a bare fit. The buckles were very easy adjustable in the water. I was snorkling for an hour in a time, was swimming against the stream and my legs didnt get tired at all! Im a happy camper and definately recommend this fins to anybody.
About me - Im a not so fit women in my fourties.
