Rating: An excellent fin
Reviewer: Li-An H., Saturday, August 30, 2008
Overall, the Aeris Velocity Duo Fins are an excellent choice of fins. Here are what I think are the pros and cons of this fin. Pros: 1. The adjustable straps are very easy to use. 2. In calm water, the fins give you greater thrust with less effort. I find this very important. This feature allows you save your energy and use less air. Cons: 1. When there is current or surge, it is difficult to produce enough thrust to get where youre going. Summary: The Aeris Velocity Duo Fin is fantastic in calm water, but isnt very effective in rough water. I would recommend this fin to anyone who dives in calm water often.

Rating: Excellent Feel and Control
Reviewer: Edmond Hutchinson, Sunday, November 19, 2006
I have been using Scubapro Jet Fins for 30 years and have yet to find anything that has as much thrust and control, until now. The Aeris velocity duo fins seem to have as much thrust and control but are much lighter and a lot easier to take off while hanging onto a boarding ladder. Ill have to test them further before I know whether they really are easier on the legs as claimed but their price/performance is hard to beat. I agree with another reviewer that they are somewhat prone to chipping along the edges of the ribs but time will tell whether this is a real problem.

Rating: Worked Well
Reviewer: Cory Graner, Thursday, July 10, 2008 - View all my reviews
These seemed to work well, but this being my first experience diving I really dont have much to compare them too. However, I can say that they were extremely comfortable, and easy to adjust as well. You dont even need to look at them to snug them up, just give one of the adjustable straps a tug and they are perfect. Both sides of the strap have buckles so they are easy to snap off, again, this can be done underwater without having to look. Great.

Rating: great fin!
Reviewer: Francis Gollahon, Wednesday, September 27, 2006 - View all my reviews
at first, i thought the fins were not all they were cracked up to be. i was used to kicking hard to swim fast. THEN, i found out the trick. take it easy and do lots of small easy kicks and pretty soon, you are flying! ive had them for about a year now (replacing a pair of large jet style fins). ill never go back. this alone has made my bottom time increase.

Rating: great technology
Reviewer: Kathleen P., Friday, August 01, 2008 - View all my reviews
Remember the old style fins that felt as if they weighed 30 pounds each? Every kick was a work out session for your but and quads...oh yeah, thats a good thing. Thats what these fins are not. I found them light and they moved me through the water with minimal work. This pair was for my girlfriend. I am quite sure she will be as happy with them as I am.

Just great products a service! Thanks so much, Steve

Rating: Very Good Fins!
Reviewer: Kristina DeWitt, Saturday, May 17, 2008 - View all my reviews
These fins are VERY easy to use, and you can propel yourself further and with less than half the effort than with a regular non-split fin. The only thing that has nothing to do with the quality or performance is that the Ice Blue color is actually a clear almost white color.

Rating: Velocity Duos good fin
Reviewer: Cindy Welch, Thursday, August 16, 2007
I ordered the Aeris Velocity Duo fins as an entry-level split fin option to paddles. They are definitely an entry-level fin, but over all I am very happy with them. I would definitely recommend them to anyone seeking a lower priced split fin.

Rating: No leg strain
Reviewer: Tom W., Friday, August 17, 2007 - View all my reviews
Just made five 90 ft dives with new fins and no leg strain. Buckles are very easy to adjust and sturdy. My buddy could really see the yellow fins. Not quite as long or heavy as some other split fins. Good fins for the price.

Rating: Fins
Reviewer: Virgenia E., Saturday, August 09, 2008 - View all my reviews
As a new diver the fins were perfect. They performed up to my expectation. They are lightweight, flexible and allowed for easy of movement at depth. On the surface it was a little difficult to move in heavy current.

Rating: Comfortable but not real durable.
Reviewer: Brian Oliver, Tuesday, September 19, 2006 - View all my reviews
These fins are very comfortable. The split fin allows good swimming speed. However, the edges of the fin may "chip" off if contacts anything somewhat hard. Overall a good starter fin for the price.

Rating: Very Happy with the Fins
Reviewer: Troy R., Tuesday, August 26, 2008 - View all my reviews
Great fins. Very comfortable. Gives plenty of power through the water. One down fall is that the buckles easily slide off the fins, I almost lost them a few times and without extra you cant dive.
