Hello Adam, Thank you for your inquiry! I'm recommending the Mares Hybrid Pro Tec Scuba BC over the TUSA Conquest ScubaBC BCJ-7000. The BCD's are very similar to each other in Form, Function and fit. But what makes the Mares BCD superior to the TUSA is the integrated weight pocket locking system. I owned a similar TUSA BCD with their locking weight system. Sliding the weight pockets into the slots was easy... It was the weight pocket locking mechanism that was difficult to manipulate. The Mares Locking system was simple. All you do is slide the male portion of the pocket into the receiving slot and listen for the "click"! When you hear the click, you know the weight pocket is securely fastened into the BCD.
