Im looking at Atomic T3 but i was told the 2nd stage stays open and you end-up with water in your first stage. All Atomic regs have the same problem. Can you help me with this?
That is something we''ve never heard before. The 2nd stage on all regulators are designed to close any time they are not forced open by inhaling pulling the diaphragm back causing the lever to open. If they did not, the 2nd stage would free flow uncontrollably when attached to a cylinder. they have a seat saving system that takes the tension off the seat when they are not in use, but this does not allow water or condensation back up the hose into the 1st Stage.
