Doed this have inderwater switching between air and the two programable NITROX gas mixes?
Hello Tom, Thank you for your inquiry! The Uwatec by ScubaPro Aladin 2G Air / Nitrox Dive Computer Watch dive computer can only be programmed for 1 gas mixture at a time and it CANNOT be changed “on the fly”, meaning you cannot change the program while underwater. http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-17/009345/ScubaPro-Aladin-2G-Air---Nitrox-Dive-Computer-Watch.html Please note: No dive computer can be changed while under water. I have a 2 gauge console w computer integrated. It is the aladin prime uwatec. I continually have to replace the battery. Maybe get two dives per battery. Looking to replace the computer. Is the uwatec universal in size? It says it can be used as wrist or module. Can you advise me if this will fit my console? Again the console is a uwatec. Thank you.
Hey mate, could you tell me if I need to order the infered USB kit to transfer to my laptop or will the 2G transfer the data direct? Matt
Hi, this may be is a silly question but what is "Wrist Mount Add $26.00" And the Watch come as the picture ? Also I am from New Zealand, I can put a order to send this diver computer to New Zealand ? Thanks in advance.
Im looking at this for my first computer, and in all the what to look for guides about buying a computer, everything says to look for if the computer retains memory if/when a battery dies. Does this computer retain the memory? Is that even still something you have to worry about? Thanks.
Most all dive computers have at least a brief memory when the battery is removed in order to retain the information during a battery change. If the battery dies, normally it would be longer before a new battery is installed than the reserve power lasts. For the most part, for most people, it isn't a big deal.

PDIS (Profile Dependent Intermediate Stops) optimizes your dive by calculating an intermediate stop based on how much nitrogen uptake your body has endured, taking into account your current dive, previous dives and breathing mixes. PDIS is a unique scientific application for safer technical and recreational diving.
Apnea mode with unique features specific to the science of Freediving, and separate logbook.
Gauge mode: operates as technical depth gauge to a depth of 394ft, with one-press stopwatch function. Unique in the diving industry, in this mode it displays a continuously updated average depth, which can be reset by the diver at any time.
Bookmark function during dive: highlight specific moments with a simple button press and add comments in the SmartTRAK profile later.
Altimeter: accurately measures altitude with a 50ft resolution. The altitude alarm (patent pending) alerts the diver when approaching an altitude incompatible with saturation status due to a recent dive.
Active backlight with push-on, push-off function.
Algorithm: ZH-l8 ADT MB PMG
PDIS: Profile Dependent Intermediate Stops
Microbubble Suppression Technology: six levels (0-5)
2 Nitrox Mix capability: program any two nitrox mixes to calculated decompression accounting for the switch to a richer mix at the end of the dive
Nitrox compatibility 21 - 100%
