I bought this computer for my best friend for Christmas! It was an instant success! We had a planned dive trip the next week, so she got to use it right away...she has an older Tusa dive computer, so it was an easy transition to the new one. No, the TUSA IQ-950 does not include the compass function. I would suggest the VT4 Air / Nitrox Hoseless Wrist Dive Computer with Digital Compass.

Unfortunately no it is not offered without the transmitter.

Hello Allan, yes the firmware is updated on TUSA website. So when they up-date the software you can go to there website and download the up-date.

Hello Allan, this is a special type of USB cable so not any UBS cable will work. If you want to download your dive onto your computer you would need the download cable for this computer.

Hello Robert, yes you can switch your computer from imperial to metric as a push of a button. But that will work with any computer.

Yes this will track up to 3 separate transmitters. The computer is designed to be used for recreational depths up to (130ft.), but typically most will monitor up to 200ft.
