I bought the Oceanic Geo 2.0 for me three months ago and I bought this Geo 2.0 once more again to my wife.
It is a very complete product with a good price. You can use it as a dive computer and also as a watch, I do that.
In dive computer mode the computer store until 24 inmersions, you can choose Air or Nitrox, you can use decompress algorithm, etc.,
Cons: The cable to download data to a PC is not included and is not a standard interface. You must buy it.
Finally! I recommend with close eyes this product.

Rating: Excellent Computer Cost-Benefits

I am a diver from 3 years ago, however I didnt have any dive computer. I was reading, reading and reading about the differents computers and I think Oceanic Geo 2.0 is a excellent choice cost-benefit. I have been using it on more than 20 inmersions without any problem, you can use air or nitrox and the display shows you the surface time, the limit time you must be in deep, temperature, max deepth you can go, etc.
The unique cons I have to mention is that Oceanic has no software for Mac, only PC.
Another suggestion, you must buy the cable in order to download the data.

Rating: Oceanic Geo 2.0 - Scuba.Com
Reviewer: Eric Alo,
Im very well pleased with the service I received from Scuba.Com. Shipment was very fast considering Im overseas. Received my computer in less than a week and in very well packed condition.
The price is the lowest. Ive compared to local suppliers as well as online. A lot of the online companies claim that they have a price guarantee but when I told them about Scuba.Com I never got a reply from them.
The Computer Oceanic Geo 2.0 is very nice. Looks good and easy to use. In fact I did not fully read the manual.
This is a very good computer for those in the rec level and doing basic tech with 1 gas switch only.
Thank you Scuba.Com

Rating: Low Profile, High Features
Reviewer: Terry B.,
Purchased as a backup to my console computer and to use when I travel and have to rent gear. All the features one would need (still learning them all) with the essential ones easy to learn right out of the box. Ability to change battery rather than sending it to manufacturer is a plus as well.
I like the small profile as the larger ones are a bit clunky to me. One downside to this is that the big ones might stand out more and be less prone to losing, but I keep the Oceanic on my wrist so that is not an issue for me.
I compared this to the BUD and felt the added features were worth the extra $. Recommended.

Rating: Oceanic Geo 2.0 Dive Computer Review
Reviewer: Gail V C.,
This wrist computer is simple, yet can be as complex as you want it to be. I used it on 11 dives on the Bay Islands of Honduras without reading much of the manual (printed on line). Its a watch, dive computer, and free diving computer. It is inexpensive, functional, and attractive. I like it.

Questions and Answers for Oceanic Geo 2.0:
Nick:
Good Morning
I am a diver recently returned to the US East Coast from overseas. After many years of "on holiday only" diving I want to take up the sport again. To give yo an idea of how out of touch I am in terms of technology my former computer was an Orca Edge, that worked like champ for years but was stolen.
I am looking for recommendations of what computer to buy. The Oceanic Geo seems to be solid. My question is whether it is one I would outgrow. My diving on this coast will mostly involve wrecks at depths in the 120 to 160 feet range.
Also, what do I gaining terms of value added features rather thn bels and whistles if I upgrade to say the VT4 (I think that is the next one up)
Many thanks
Nick Johnson

:
The Geo is a full function air/nitrox dive computer and is a wrist watch size unit. The VT4 has many more features such as hoseless air integration and a digital compass. Either unit should meet your needs for recreational diving. The VT4 has just about every feature you can get in a dive computer.
Leopoldo:
Good morning, Im interested in the dive computer Oceanic Geo 2.0, but in that computer espesificaciones paguina in Oceanic: http://www.oceanicworldwide.com/us/geo-2-0/ #, indicates the use two gases to 100% oxygen and you only up to 50% oxygen, please clarify this point, thanks...
Greg (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
The Geo 2.0 can support 2 different gas mixes without any limitations on which gas mixture has a higher O2 concentration. Some Nitrox computers will not allow a diver to switch to a lower O2 concentration from the first gas mixture. If a diver is diving with EAN36 and needs to switch to his pony bottle which contains only air, this computer will support the switch and support the switch back if necessary.
German:
Hi I just want to confirm that this computer accept until 100% of O2 for the first or second gas. In your spec shows that is only up to 50% but in the spec of the manufactures says that can reach up to 100%. I really appreciate if you can help me with this
Bob (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
The computer will accept up to 100% O2 for either mixture.
