Rating: good entrance computer for price
Reviewer: Ramon H., Tuesday, October 25, 2011 - View all my reviews
It does what it specifies. Numbers are small and crowded and for those that are farsighted is a problem. No backlight for night diving. The assent rate is too sensitive over a short span. Otherwise it works nicely.

Rating: Aeris XR1-Nx Air/Nitrox Computer Dive Watch: review
Reviewer: Claudia Fielder, Wednesday, June 15, 2011
This is a great dive computer, but it did not come with the cord to download the information to the computer. So I now have to order one. I thought one came with the computer, but apparently not. Other than that, it works well, used it on 15 dives last week. Just would have been nice to be able to download the information.

Rating: Great dive computer for beginners
Reviewer: Thomas M., Friday, February 12, 2010 - View all my reviews
This is my first dive computer and I wanted something very simple. Its a very easy computer to use. A single button scrolls through all of the screens. The large screen makes it easy to see the display and all of the pertinent information can be seen on one screen. You can change the battery yourself although I havent tried yet.

Rating: Great product

This is a great product. Took it out of the package and was diving with it the next day. I would recommend this product to divers that I know.

Rating: Aeris XR1-Nx Air/Nitrox Wrist Computer - works well with Drager and OC
Reviewer: William Kittredge, Saturday, August 23, 2008
Bought this when my last computer bit the dust and, after familiarizing myself with it for a week, took it to Bonaire. Dove Drager and OC with it and it easily switched, gave clear readouts and handled the bums and jars of a few rough shore entries without a problem.
Read out is very clear and intuitive, which is important always but especially so when diving with less experienced people creates additional task loadings.
Good solid gear, well designed and rugged.

Rating: Great computer for the price!
Reviewer: Richard W., Sunday, July 01, 2007 - View all my reviews
This little computer is very easy to use and has a lot of nice features for the price. It logs up to 12 dives and records surface intervals, time of day that each dive started, and it has a plan mode that helps you look ahead to your next dive. Its not as sleek as some of the newer wrist models that can function as a wristwatch on land but it does everything I need a dive computer to do!

My daughter is a beginning open water diver, what computerized digital watch would you recommend? She will be diving in Hawaii mainly.
