Very easy to read numbers. Watch functions are well laid out and useful.
The dive computer gives a lot of information and the instruction manual is not the easiest to follow, although the information is available.
The advertised material emphasizes the "hot swappable" battery changing, without loss of information. However, this feat needs to be accomplished in 8sec... not possible if one has to clean the o-ring and ensure the compartment is clean. Unless one has a second battery cover all prepped.
All in all a very nice instrument in a small package(not for smsll wrists, though)

Love the computer. Good second computer to backup my Oceanic Datapro 2. Only problem I had was the Atom 2 would reset it self. Found that the battery lead was not always making contact. After one dive and on the boat I watched the Atom 2 lose power and reset itself twice. Luck I had my Datapro 2 as the primary computer.
After bending the battery contact to ensure it was making good contact with the battery I havent had any problems.
I would recommend buying the Oceanic Atom/Geo Comfort Wristband. It makes getting in and out of a wetsuit easier with the Atom 2.

Rating: Great Computer
Reviewer: mike m.,
I have used this computer for 6 dives and it works great. Its simple and provides all the information you need. The part I like the most is the ability to download to my computer and log all of the information about the dive.

Have tried out my computer for a few dives so far. EASY TO USE. And, easy to download stuff. The price was great, and the staff was helpful. The watch is easy to work underwater and easy to see, plus I love the backlight.

I traded in a Mosquito for this computer. I believe it is the only watch style computer that does gas switches. There are 3 gas switches for tec diving. 21-100% O2. You can also do integrated pressure monitoring with it with a different transmitter on each of your tanks, so when you switch gases, you also switch transmitters automatically. It is also a Neo-Haldanean model, which is more liberal with recreational diving. I find the RGBM models to be too conservative for me. Its a great computer for the price. Definitely recommended.

After having this computer...I will NEVER dive without it again. It took a while to learn all of the functions, and I am still finding out new things every day. If you are looking for an excellent air integrated watch, look no further, this is the one.

We did not have enough time to learn all the functions of this computer. However I was amazed by simply wearing the computer while diving it automatically went into normal mode and recorded each dive and more importantly showed the graph indicating the need for decompression (notional nitrogen build-up). I am looking forward to further explore this electronic marvel.
