Only two dives on the light so far. I had an UK eLed Plus before. The brightstar is definitely brighter and the color rendition is so much better!!!
Its almost neutraly buoyant underwater which is very nice. It definitely puts out a lot of light, but it isnt as focussed as I wished for. I have the spot 24W one and at night it feels like a car headbeam providing light to a large area. But during the day its only useful at relatively close range given its not as tight a beam as other HIDs.
