The Sherwood Wisdom 2 looks like a great deal. Two questions: 1) does refurbished mean that it does not have a full warrantee? 2) what if any Is the advantage of purchasing a Wisdom 3 over the Wisdom 2. Im living in Borneo and relatively new to diving and want a computer that will perform reliably. Not any repair facilities on the island!

Hello Joe, the computer would come with a full one year warranty from Scuba.Com. I would suggest getting gear that your local dive shop can support since you are in Borneo. So if there is any issues with your gear they would be able to ship it out for warranty work.

Hi, I recently picked up a Sherwood Wisdom 2 dive computer with built in compass. I would like to remove the rubber housing to clean it out but do not know how. Can someone please walk me through it? Also, I do not have a quick release hose and charging cord for it. Can someone please tell me where I can purchase these and for how much they sell for. I am not looking to buy brand new.

Thank you for your help. I actually only want to remove the rubber housing for cleaning purposes. I have all sorts of beach sand stuck between the computer unit itself and rubber housing. Is it possible to remove only the rubber housing so I can clean out what seems to be a lot of sand between the unit and rubber housing...?

Removing the cover on the computer can void the manufacturer warranty. You might want to tke the unit into an authorized dealer for help with this.
