Rating: Outstanding Value

I recently purchased this computer after some lengthy research and a personal recommendation from the staff at my local dive center. It was very easy to install and program with my personal information and profile. Ive only taken 6 dives with it so far but Im very impressed with the display, ease of handling, features, and accuracy. It is very intuitive when it comes to pre-dive programming, in-dive reference, and post-dive review. I would highly recommend this computer to divers of all levels and proficiency. It is well worth the price!!

Not being the computer literate individual, was really in the market for the easiest to utilize dive computer on the market. Well this is it, could not be more satisfied with the ease of use. Scroll, enter information, get wet !! Not to mention for those of us with " Older " eyes, can not miss the screen on this one. On a recent dive with limited viz, actually had several buddies following the screen of my computer !!
Down side, first Cobalt I purchased had malfunctioning battery indicator. However this unit was quickly replaced my Scuba.com. Second, the supplied retention strap is inadequate to keep unit close, tends to slide down hose. Atomic should reconfigure to allow for more attachment points directly on the body of the unit. Overall fantastic system.

Rating: Atomic Cobalt Air Awesome!
Reviewer: Jay P., Thursday, October 06, 2011
i did two dives at 70 feet last week while using this computer for the very first time. wow! this dive computer rocks! very easy to understand and very user friendly. display is crisp. digital compass is very easy and works well.
upon receiving this computer i did a flash upload which basically locked up the dive computer. i had to return it twice. after getting in contact with the designer, i learned there is a way to reset the computer by disconnecting the battery to reset it. problem solved. i like that i am able to upload firmware s. the competitor calls a firmware an obsolete dive computer. the atomic cobalt dive computer is good enough to put the competition out of business.
i love it!

If you have the funds, this will take care of you!! Also is really easy to see when you dont know where your buddy might be. Just look for the nice and bright display (assuming noone else has it). A+++

Rating: Peak of Dive Computer Evolution

This computer is hands down the most awesome piece of dive equipment Ive ever seen. The menus are ridiculously easy to navigate and it comes with cables to recharge the computer with an AC plug or USB. The program to download and save your dives is free for download but I dont really use it. It also comes with a set of protective film stickers for the screen. My only complaint is that the gap at the top of the computer is not wide enough to clip a retractor directly to it but a short zip-tie or key ring fixes that right quick.
