Questions and Answers for Bare 500 Gram Super Hi-Loft Polarwear Extreme Drysuit Undergarment:

  • Brenda:

Thanks Bob! I live in southern CA, Often Catalina water is cold enough for a 7mil. Dry suits look nice, but Ive never used one before, What do you wear underneath based upon temp? Are you warm and dry or cool depending upon the water temp, but dry? How do you do weights with a dry suit? Any other information would be appreciated.

Arthur  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

You really want to take a dry suit course. You wear a drysuit undergarment.

  • Brenda:

It is stated this dry suit is good for 40 degrees and below. Up to what water temperatures can you wear it before getting to warm?

Bob  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

It''s impossible to tell. On average people get too warm in a dry suit in water temps in the 60''s. Myself, I wear mine here in Ca. year around, simply altering what I wear inside it. I find the comfort compared to wet suits to be too hard to resist.
