Rating: Works Great!
Reviewer: Tom P.,
This mold did a great job for me. I purchased a cheap scale so I knew as I poured the lead when to stop for the weight I was shooting for. Great mold at an economy price.

Rating: Great weight mold
Reviewer: Jason C.,
I ordered this mold because the local dive shop wanted to charge me 22 dollars for a 5 pound dive weight. So I figured if I bought a mold I could make as many as I wanted for the price of one weight. I already had all the lead and melting equipment so this product worked great for me. As for the mold all the weights came out great. Our best results were when we let the lead cool for about ten minutes before taking the weight out of it. Otherwise it would still be too soft and deform. Great product for someone looking to save money.

Overall great product, should last a lifetime. Could use some graduated marks to give some idea of attempted poured weight,(like the small one has).I think I will some how scribe some approximate marks on the inside to help me with this in future pours.

Rating: Excellent product
Reviewer: Charles Oborn,
The mold works very well. While the lines are not marked with respect to the equivalent lead requirements per pound the mold works great. Mold a couple of "warm-up" weights before you make the final products. The mold works better when very hot. Also, use a candle and "blacken" the surface before you use the mold...it is a nice product and easy to use.

Rating: Easy to use
Reviewer: Ken McElravy,
The mold has marks at approximate weights so you know where to pour the lead. Pour the lead, wait about 30 seconds and dump out the weight. Cant get much simpler! The weights fit in my integrated pockets too.Great product!!

I made quite a few quality weights using this product. Filled up to the max I was only able to get about 3 pounds, 11 ounces out of it though.

This weight mold works great however it would have been smart if they had placed a number on the otside so you know what line is for what weight size. All in all good product.

The weight mold worked perfectly. This is the easiest way to make weights in large numbers.

Where do I find lead and how difficult to pour?

Hello Sal, not sure where you would get lead blocks to melt. As for pouring the lead. Not sure what you are using to pour the lead but you do not want to cover the two web loops or you will not be able to put it on a weight belt.
