Rating: Vertical Balance - finally!
Reviewer: Adair New, Friday, July 23, 2010 - View all my reviews
im one of those women whose lower body tends to float upward when trying to relax at a safety stop (not exactly attractive. these weights make it effortless to hang in vertical position yet they dont affect my horizontal balance when diving at all. i love them!

Rating: Love them!

I always dove with full foot fins/socks, but recently decided to get regular fins/booties. I guess the booties made my feet float a bit, so I was having "back arch" problems. I dive with only 6# of weight anyway, and didnt want to add any more around my waist. The 1# weights on each ankle were exactly what I needed. No more arching, no more fighting to stay level during safety stop. Very comfortable, easy to take with me on out of country trips.

I bought these because my new fins caused my legs to want to float away. These weights worked perfectly. They are soft, comfortable, adjustable, easy to wash and have an easy snap release. Shipping was very fast from Scuba.com

These were just what I needed! As a novice diver, I was having trouble keeping the proper profile. I used these on a trip to Mexico and feel they helped alot!

Rating: Does the job
Reviewer: Carolina E., Wednesday, August 22, 2007
Ive never been so confortable in my life! This weight really made a huge diffrence from my last dives. The only drawback is that I had to tie a knot on the strap according to ankle diameter so clippers wouldnt slide, but other than that... perfect!

Rating: scubamanbo master instructor rewiews ankle weights
Reviewer: Robert Pierce, Thursday, May 10, 2007
These are useful if your legs tend to float up in salt water a common problem for women. They help in keeping you in the best position for diving. I use them to help me swim at the surface as I am an oprn water swimmer and they allowed a better kick. Very comfortable to wear. Super price ansd fast shipping
