Does this module fit the Genesis React Pro 2 gauge console MFG #CG3909? Im looking at buying both but the description on the console only shows a front image. Im assuming theres a spot for this compass module on the back side of the console?
I have the old style Sherwood boot with the compass attachment at the top. Will this compass fit? I believe the boot part number is p/n 4402 Thanks
For the older consoles the XS Scuba Standard module should fit: http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-15/017128/XS-Scuba-Standard-Compass-Module.html
Dear Kindly confirm if Sherwood Supertilt 2 Dive Compass Module is suitable for Aeris XR Dive Compass Clip Mount Boot.
This is the correct module http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-15/017009/Aeris-XR-Compass-Module.html
What is the diameter and height of this compass "module"? Im looking for something 1"+ deep not counting the bezel and between 2"- 2 1/4" in diameter to fit in a Beauchat wrist mount. Will make up difference if small with silicone tape.
Thanks for the info. on the Sherwood Supertilt 2 compass module. I was all ready to buy it but the shipping is really expensive. $17.45! At that cost I might as well buy the Oceanic compass module that goes with the Veo computer console at $52.95 from my local dive shop because the price works out the same. Is there any way to avoid that shipping cost?
That shipping rate sounds like it is either leaving the continental 48 US states or that 3-Day shipping was selected. If purchasing within the Continental 48 US States, try moving the delivery date on the order out to 2 weeks from the date of order. That will take care of that. If outside the 48 US states, I'm afraid that's the least expensive shipping rate we offer for it.
Compass question: I find that the compass included in my Mares matrix dive computer is steady and not adequate for many conditions - especially for night or low vis. I am therefore looking for a dive compass with the following features: * Fast, positive action * Relatively tilt resistant * Side and top reading * Nicely luminous at night * Big enough to be easily read * Reasonable price * Usable on a retractor or, preferably, on a slate (I would not use it on my wrist or a hose because I need to hold it further away.) QUESTION: If the combined slate/compass combinations are too expensive or don’t exist with my requirement, would it be able to glue or tie a compass module (for example the Sherwood Supertilt 2 compass Module) to a slate that I had cut a hole in? Thanks
Hello Jim, the compass with slate you are looking for is the: http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-249/130540/Innovative-Dive-Compass-Slate.html. That will be the style compass you are looking for in your specs requirements.
The photograph shows a Southern Hemisphere compass. I.e. N is 180 degrees east is 270, etc. I want a Northern hemisphere compass. Can I get it for N hemisphere?
