I am having issues with part of the back upper heel separating, can anyone recommend a fix and/or how to get replaced by Henderson?

Dave  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

You can contact henderson here http://www.scuba.com/resources/repair/henderson.aspx If you would like to try and fix it yourself you can try some waterproof glue or possibly neoprene cement. I would contact henderson first though.

  • Leah:

I am looking for boots that will wear nicely under fins and protect our feet from the rough, sharp lava rock found where we live. Will these boots work well, and if so, what fins do you recommend. Currently I am a snorkeler but my guy is a diver/cave diver/dive instructor and I am looking to get these for him for a Christmas Gift. Thank you!

Bob  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

These boots along with any hard or heavy duty sole boot will work perfectly for this.

  • Nick:

Hi Guys, I have a few questions for you: I am over in NZ and wanted to know if the Australian site will deliver to NZ? I am a UK/NZ size 9 in terms of a Dive Boot, would that be the same as the US/AU sizing? If the boot does not fit correctly where would I send them back to for exchange in size? Does the tread on the undersole effect fit into fins? My family are looking to purchase these as a gift for me and are in the UK - is the AU site the best place to purchase and deliver to NZ? Sorry for so many questions! Cheers

  • Pat:

Do you know if these will fit comfortably in the Aqualung Slingshot fins? Are there certain brands of fins that may not work? I know that some boots are fairly wide (and some fin pockets narrow), and not every fin/boot combo works. Thanks.

Bob  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

It isn''t so much the brand as the fin size that determines if they''ll work. All dive fins and all dive boots are designed to work together. If a foot pocket is deemed too small for a foot or pair of boots then a larger sized fin would be appropriate.

  • Kelly:

I would like to purchase boots for fishing in the surf. I need a rugged sole for fishing on rocky beaches and a boot that will protect against rocks crushing my toes & heels being thrown around in the surf would be great. Thank You!

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Kelly, yes this would have the same sole as your tennis shoe. So yes it will help protect and help keep your feet a little warmer in them.
