Rating: Save the Environment
Reviewer: Jack F., Friday, August 28, 2009
this is a vital piece of kit to have to keep your gear from bouncing off the bottom while diving. Get this and save the environment from divers crap bouncing off of the bottom. Well made, with a decent return pull strength. this easily keeps my DataMax Pro Plus close to my BCD.

Rating: Pleased with it

Got this to secure my SPG and it works great. Had it out for a couple dozen saltwater dives so far and have had no issues. I usually forget to rinse out the mechanism after and it showed no signs of corrosion or other problems. While only a single SPG it easily keeps it out of the way as intended.

Needed something because my arms are not as long as they need to be...lol...had one before and it lasted about 6 years, it broke so had to buy another one. Good price, good product, hope it lasts as long as the last one.

Handy devices, keeps things neat. Scuba.com deserves 6 stars as my order was placed at 5:00p.m. and arrived at my door at 10:00a.m. the next morning, everything exactly as we ordered and just in time for our trip to Cartagena.

Rating: Good retractor
Reviewer: Jereme S., Monday, September 22, 2008 - View all my reviews
While it was smaller than I expected with the clips it did not work with my compass. But it was spectacular with my pressure gauge. Placement is key with these, but they keep the gear nice and tight to the BCD. Which helps when belly crawling across a reef, or ducking into a swim through.

Rating: small retractor review
Reviewer: Danette j., Friday, July 18, 2008 - View all my reviews
I love the ease of this with putting on my BC and it held my camera so I could have a little more room to pull it out when taking pictures. I like all of the Aeris retractors and the small one was just what I needed for holding my camera.

I have the small version of this retractor. Works great for small lights, slates, consoles, etc. Not so good with large lights or cameras (the large size might be). I agree with one of the other reviews, the clips are a bit small - had to get creative to use it with my Suunto Cobra/Compass console - but it does the job just fine now.

Rating: Its not really small...
Reviewer: Leonard Ng, Saturday, February 24, 2007 - View all my reviews
I have no idea how big its gonna be. When it reached me, i didnt expect it to be that big. I need a smaller retractor. But other than that, it serves its purpose. You pull it, it retracts by itself. Good to mount it on your gauge. I dont recommend it to be used with your camera or light. Because when you pull it out, it has a force to retract it. so, youll be tired in no time if you are using your light during night time or using your camera to shoot something. Those coil-lanyard is recommended.

Rating: Dont play with your retractor!
Reviewer: David Mcclimans, Friday, January 12, 2007 - View all my reviews
The retractor works great in the water. It will allow you to use and see your computer, gauge and compass. The only proble is dont try and play with the retractor out of the water and see how long it is. If you do...opps! See you on the bottom.
