I BOUGHT THIS WANTING TO SAVE MONEY ON A RETRACTOR FOR MY GAUGES. I FOUND OUT THE CORD IS TOO SHORT AND THE PLASTIC CLIPS WILL BREAK. IT IS A GOOD RET. FOR LIGHTWEIGHT STUFF. SUCH AS SMALL LIGHT,COMPASS,ECT. I WOULD RECOMMEND IT, BUT DON,T EXPECT TOO MUCH FROM IT AS I DID. USE IT AS IT WAS DESIGNED. NICK G.

Rating: How did I live without these?
Reviewer: Sarah S., Wednesday, December 30, 2009 - View all my reviews
If youre THINKING about buying one, buy 3! I seriously dont know how I lived without these. Everything you clip to it is within reach, cant get lost, helps keep items close to your body (instead of dragging into sand or coral or kelp!)...I wish Id bought them sooner.

I use this to hold my small backup light to my BC. Perfect to keep the light clodse and allows easy use to for shining light into cracks and holes in the reef during day dives. Keeps my hands free when I dont need the light.

Rating: Great Mini Retractor
Reviewer: Brent P., Tuesday, October 07, 2008 - View all my reviews
This is by far the best mini retractor I have used. It is not meant for heavy items as the spring is not really strong, but for small flashlights, clipboards, etc. it works great. I use 2 or 3 on my BC every dive.

It seems to be a little long to start with(4"), but was effective.

Rating: Good accessory

Worked well with my gages, but a few times I had to give it a hand for it to retract all the way. Not sure how long it will last.

Rating: Works well, light spring
Reviewer: Joseph Johnson, Saturday, February 10, 2007 - View all my reviews
Although I love the length of the cable and it works well with no hang-ups, the spring tension on this retractor is very light, not suitable for computers or guages. Use with signal devices or other light accessories is about its limit.

Rating: Review of Mini Retractor Clip
Reviewer: Christina L., Wednesday, September 16, 2009
This is a great product! I got two of them - one for my camera and one for my slate. It holds both of them great. I may even buy a few more of them for my dive light and other accoutrements.
